14th September 2004 Windsurfing: Treco Bay , Porthcawl Wind Direction: west Wind Stength: 15+ Surf / Sea State: big swell ,waves Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: wind was banging all morn but did,nt get to beach untill 2.30. Treco looked good with a cross on wind some huge swell and waves on the outside , Jamie getting a bit nervous rigging as it lookrd hammering , anyway two runs later a few munchers and had to go back and get a 5.3m and go onto acid wave from the JP. .Was ok after thatt but wind seemed to ease all afternoon .Few otheres turned , nick the fish came out but few more decieded it looked to risky , All in all not bad but not as good as I was expecting . |
